Dr. Uday Kumar Mishra has done his M.A. in English (1980) and Ph.D. (1987) from Bhagalpur University. He has been working as a Professor of English for the last 40 years. He has been the Head of University Department of English and is presently the Dean, Faculty of Humanities, TM Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. He has also taught abroad in the universities of Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Libya for many years. Dr. Mishra specializes in Applied Linguistics, Contemporary Critical Theory and Research Methodology. He has published many research papers in international and national journals and supervised Ph.D. theses. Research Methodology: A Course Book is his first publication in the form of a book. His future writings include course books in linguistics and contemporary critical theory.
