The Indian Society for Promotion of Agricultural Sciences (TISPAS) was established in the year 2006. It is registered society (No. H/RS 5163) under the society registration act 1860. The society has the main objective of promoting educational, training, consultancy and research activities in the field of agricultural sciences. The society has already conducted National seminars, trainings as well as workshops for the professionals in the field of agricultural sciences.

Prof. K. K. Jha
Dr. Kaushal Kumar Jha is currently the Professor & Head of the Department of Agricultural
Extension at Nagaland University, SAS, Medziphema Campus Nagaland. He has supervised many PG
and PhD scholars, published more than 80 research papers in the national & international journals of
repute and conducted research in the fields Agricultural extension, Technology transfer, Agro-
ecological studies, Impact of development programmes, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability of farming
systems etc. He has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research, extension and rural
management. He has demonstrated high degree of research expertise and consultancy for government
departments as well as international agencies in the field of Agriculture, Rural Development, Social
Sustainability, Community Empowerment, Technology Innovation, Local governance. He has also
contributed as councillor of the Indian Society of Extension Education, New Delhi.
Prof. Amod Sharma
Prof. Amod Sharma is working as Professor & Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics,
Nagaland University, SAS, Medziphema Campus; since last 28 years involved actively in teaching,
research, extension and consultancy works. Published 12 books, 28 book chapters, 120 research
papers in national repute journals, 20 popular articles; received 15 awards and guided 14 research
scholars, 56 post-graduate students for their research work; Successfully organised / completed 4
national and 1 state seminar, 4 projects and 6 professional trainings. He is members of UC, AC, PB,
BRS, SB and Chairman of BPGS of Nagaland University, life member of 12-professional bodies and
attended 40 professional trainings.
Prof. Y. K. Sharma
Dr. Y. K. Sharma is a  Professor in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science,
School of Agricultural Sciences, (SAS) Nagaland University, Medziphema, Nagaland since 2011. He
joined Nagaland University in 2005 as Reader. At present he is a member of various statutory bodies
of the University and has supervised several Post graduate and Ph. D students for their research work.
He is actively engaged in teaching at UG, PG and Ph D levels and extension activities. He has also
published more than fifty papers in reputed journals. Besides he  has authored and edited several
books and practical manuals.
Dr. R. K. Kulshreshtha
Dr. R.K. Kulshreshtha obtained his Ph. D. in Agricultural Economics in 1992 from Agra University,
Agra (UP). He has guided 02 Ph.D. scholars and more than 33 numbers of PG students. He has the
honour of organizing national seminar and editorial board members in 07 numbers of different
reputed Journals. He has published 03 numbers of books with ISBN number, 02 book chapters, 18
research papers in various reputed journals. He has an experience of 19 years of UG and PG teaching.
At presently he is working as Assistant Professor (Stage-II) in the Department of Agricultural
Economics, Raja Balwant Singh College, Bichpuri, Agra (Uttar Pradesh).
